Abstract
A 30-year-old male complained the binocular pain and decreased visual acuity after the car accident. When his car crashed into the guard rail, he had multiple facial abrasions by the inflated air bag. With the initial physical examinations, traumatic hyphema, corneal epithelial defects, corneal stromal edema were seen on the both eyes. On his left eye, which got a more shock by the air bag, traumatic iridodialysis, phacodonesis, and vitreal hemorrhage were seen. It reveals the corneal endothelial defect by the specular microscopy. He has yet to discover after around one-month management We report the case of a significant corneal endothelial defect caused by the airbag induced ocular injury, which is rarely to be observed.
